Please read these terms carefully before joining the Worksy Referral Partner Program. By registering, you agree to be bound by these terms.
The Worksy Referral Partner Program ("Program") is operated by Worksy ("we", "us", "our"), a South African technology platform that connects homeowners with verified service professionals.
By registering as a Referral Partner, you ("Partner") agree to these Referral Program Terms & Conditions ("Program Terms") in addition to Worksy's general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference.
These Program Terms govern your participation in the referral program only. All other use of the Worksy platform is governed by our general Terms of Use.
To participate in the Program you must:
Worksy reserves the right to decline any application to the Program at its sole discretion without providing a reason.
Upon successful registration, you will be assigned a unique referral code in the format WRKRF[number][surname initial] (e.g. WRKRF1D). This code is personal to you and must not be transferred, sold, or shared for the benefit of another person.
A referral is recorded when a new service provider registers on the Worksy platform and enters your referral code during their registration process. Referral codes cannot be applied retroactively to providers who have already registered.
Each provider can only be attributed to one Referral Partner. The first valid code entered at registration is the one that counts. Disputes over attribution will be resolved by Worksy at its sole discretion and our decision is final.
You earn R50 for each qualifying month a provider you referred maintains an active paid Worksy subscription — for a maximum of 6 qualifying months per provider (R300 maximum per provider).
The commission structure is as follows:
Commission rates are set by Worksy and may be changed prospectively with reasonable notice to Partners. Changes to the commission rate will not apply retroactively to qualifying months already earned.
A referral qualifies for commission only when ALL of the following conditions are met:
A referral does not qualify if the referred provider cancels before making a payment, if the payment fails or is refunded, or if Worksy determines the referral was made in bad faith.
If a referred provider cancels their subscription and later resubscribes, your commission continues from where it left off. The 6-month qualifying period does not reset upon resubscription.
Commissions accumulate in your referral dashboard balance. You may request a payout of your available balance at any time through your dashboard.
⚠️ Worksy reserves the right to withhold a payout if there is a reasonable suspicion of fraudulent activity, pending investigation. Withheld payouts will be released or forfeited following the outcome of the investigation.
The following conduct is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the Program and forfeiture of any outstanding commissions:
Worksy actively monitors referral patterns for suspicious activity and reserves the right to withhold or reverse commissions where fraudulent conduct is identified, including retroactively.
You may leave the Program at any time by contacting us at info@worksy.co.za. Any commissions already earned and available in your balance will be paid out following your request to leave.
Worksy may suspend or terminate your participation in the Program at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Program Terms, engaged in fraudulent conduct, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
Upon termination for cause (i.e. violation of these terms), outstanding commissions may be forfeited. Worksy's determination of whether conduct constitutes a violation is final.
Worksy also reserves the right to discontinue the Program entirely at any time. In such a case, we will provide reasonable notice to active Partners and pay out all legitimately earned commissions.
The Worksy Referral Partner Program is an independent earnings opportunity. Worksy makes no guarantee as to the amount of commission you will earn or the number of providers you will successfully refer.
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Worksy's total liability to any Partner in connection with this Program shall not exceed the total commissions earned by that Partner in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Worksy is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or speculative losses arising from your participation in or exclusion from the Program.
These Program Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
Worksy may update these Program Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active Partners via email or in-dashboard notification at least 14 days before they take effect.
Your continued participation in the Program after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop participating and request withdrawal of your available balance.
